The Blob

While I was looking for a picture to take in my own yard I went down into the dryed up creek at the side of the yard.  I looked over to one side and there this little surprise revealed itself to me.  This tree has pretty much grown around this small rock.  Maybe I am a bit crazy but it just reminded me of a big blob taking over a city.

I was challenged to look for some nice shots in my own yard.  When  ITook the time to look I saw all kinds of things which grabbed my attention.  I will try to post them over the next few days.

A Lazy Day on the Beach

I was at the beach today and I kept looking at this beach set up.  We had one of those really windy days at the beach and i was wondering when one of those umbrellas were going to take off like a kite.  Never did while i was there but we did have a good thunder storm threaten to visit us so it was time to head to the car before we got soaked.

Cute little guys make good supper

I found out there were 11 little ones but the turtles in the pond have been having them for supper.

Quack Quack Quack

I have no idea what kind of duck this is but if I had to guess I would say it’s a mallard (ok that is the only kind of duck I know) One thing I do know is I love the beautiful colors God dressed them in.

Go ahead and touch my babies… I dare you!!

Mother Duck was not to sure about me but I guess because I was on my belly she tolerated my precence.

Chirp Chirp Chirp

I went to Hollywood this past weekend.  Not the one we all know about but Hollywood, SC. Look what I found ducks and more ducks and plenty of geese.  I was talking with the care taker of our camp grounds and he told me a couple of geese had 27 eggs waiting to hatch.
