Bridge Over Troubled Waters

bridge.jpg A small creek runs through my neighbors and my property. It is not a large creek but just enough of a hindrance to keep us from going across to the other side. Last year he and his sons decided they wanted to get across the other side so they set out to make a bridge across the creek in order to have a walking trail. During this past year a lot of water has swept past this bridge he and his sons made, but that water was no longer a problem for them because they made a bridge.
I got to thinking a lot of problems happen in this world we live in because no one has made a bridge to get across those difficult situations but have decided not to cross the waters and keep to themselves. What would happen if we no what would happen if I decided to make a bridge against some troubling waters in this community such as racial tension, drugs or whatever. I know it would just be one small little bridge that would only help a few people but what would happen if all of us decided to make a bridge?
