Senator Benjamin R.“Pitchfork Ben” Tillman

I was at the South Carolina Statehouse this evening and took a few picture of this statue of Benjamin Tillman. I did not know anything about him but when I looked him up on the Web I was kind of surprised we the people of South Carolina would put him up as a statue.
