Birthday Cake Castle

What an exciting B-Day cake. Whatever happened to the simple round ones like my wonderful Mom used to make me and my sister for our B-Days. Kids just don’t know how good they have it nowadays.

The light

Puppet Show

A few month back my family and I went to a puppet show. I really enjoyed the show but my little girls lost interest rather quick. I don’t remember the name of the group but I do know it was a group that travels around.

Snowy Night

We had one of those hard nights trying to get our girls to fall asleep last night. After about an hour of fighting the sleep they so badly needed my precious girls fell asleep. My wife and I were watching American Idol when we happened to look outside and see snow coming down. Well this is not an everyday experience here in Columbia, SC so we woke the girls up to have some fun in the snow. They had lots of fun for about five minutes. we had lots of fun until it was time for them to get back in bed…

Employee Break room Couch

Wow! What a fancy couch for an employee break room but that where I found this charming couch. My wife said it looks kind of ugly. I think it looks pretty impressive. Good thing I did not pull it out and load it up on my car to take home for my beautiful bride.

I have never been one for such things as having good luck or bad luck. Many things good or bad happen because of our planning or lack of planning.

Rope & Blade

I found this interesting. I think the rusted metal piece is a remnant of the old saw mill. what power this blade must of had to cut through some gigantic tree.

Work Truck

I like looking at old things. Take this old work truck for example what character it has in all of the odds and ends placed on it. The chain must have pulled many things. My imagination can really go wild with what this old truck has done.

Old piece of Farm Equipment

On the old site of the old M L Corley & Sons Sawmill located in Lexington,sc. I found this old piece of farm equipment. I am not sure exactly but i think it is a tiller. When I saw it I wondered what it would be doing at a saw mill. Looks like it’s in pretty good shape but what do I know.
