LEXINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Lexington Presbyterian Church is about a half mile if that from my church. A few years back part of their building was struck by lighting and completely burned it down and I believe the part I have taken a photo of is the new building. My church and this one will be hosting a Parenting Seminar in June together.

Happy Saint Patricks Day!

Today I was out driving and I came across a part of town know as Earlwood (at least that is what the signs said over the street names) I took some shots which I will share next week but I wanted to share this Happy Saint Patrick day house. I wish I could of gotten a better picture of the house because it is a real beauty. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day and thanks for stopping by.

Float on Down the River

I looked down the river the other day and I thought how nice it would be to get a tube and float on down the river and enjoy the sights. Don’t worry I came to my senses before I got the tube. I felt the water and it was COLD!

The Non-Fisherman

I went down by a boat landing today and saw this guy fishing. I struck up a conversation with him and he let me know he was not like most people who fish, he said he was not trying to catch any fish but he just enjoyed fishing. I asked him if if i could take pictures of him and he graciously agreed.

New life

Seems to me almost all abounded buildings have old bottles laying around and this old gas station is no exception. I really like the way this picture looks when I study it. I can see how weathered it is and nested in the old fallen leaves but what I also like is the new vegetation starting to take over.

Old Cluter

You migth find this picture looking like a bunch of junk but I find it to be intriguing.

Fellowship Community Church

I think this is a nice looking church. I know absolutely nothing about it but enjoy driving by when I am out that way.

Door Lock

Beans & Pork Can

What a find an old phillips Bean and Pork can maybe just as it was left after someone ate their lunch and left it there.

Rusty Lock

In the front of the old gas station I posted yesterday you will se this rusted out lock on the front of the door. If you go to the back of this abounded store you will find most of the wall gone giving you complete acxceeto enter. So much for the locked door in front.
