Once again we had a hit with my girls but they were to to sure about climbing up on him. Kind of big for them I guess.

Flamigo

Ah! Such beautiful birds. One of my girls said “Poppie they are hurting my ears” They are cute but sure can be noisy not to mention smelly.

Yep this is the same guy as yesterdays post. Just look at the size of this guys mouth. He was not growling but just a big big yawn. Or was he licking his libs for supper?

I am out of town so no church today. Just this cute little guy.
fellow sure did like the looks of my girls. He must of been hungry because he sure stared in our direction allot. Hey I have not thought about this but I wonder if he was looking at me instead of the girls. I bet he thought to himself those little girls are worth my while but look at that big fat man Yum Yum “Man it’s what’s for dinner”

Tiger

My girls just had a great time with this tiger. I could not get them to pose fro a good picture but they sure did enjoy it.

Palmetto Tree Monuments

All over the city and maybe the state there are these Palmetto trees cut out and decorated in many unique ways.

Oasis in the city

The garden part of RiverBanks Zoo and Garden is a very pretty spot. I love to go in the middle of the summer and enjoy the sound of water as well as see all of the flowers in bloom.

Big Dragon Fly

I will be posting some photos from the RiverBanks Zoo and Gardens for the next few days. This little creature was found next to a little park for kids. It really grabbed my interest but my girls did not even seem to notice it because they were wrapped up in playing with the flower planting exhibit.

Sweet little Deer

I mentioned the other day I was speaking at a family retreat in West Virginia this past weekend and had lots of fun. One of the high light for me was waking up and looking out the window and seeing this deer chomping away at the grass. Actually there were about three deer outside my window but when I tried to open the door they took off except this guy came back.
